From the owner, Linda's, warm welcome (upon arrival) to the incredibly comfy bed to the mini tour of the gorgeous historic house to the complimentary fresh baked cookies and tea, the evening nip of sherry, the big, bright, beautifully decorated bedroom to the delicious breakfast and easy checkout...this was a wonderful experience! The location is amazing! Rachel's Dowry is a quiet oasis tucked into the middle of a fun, bustling city where everything one could want or need is close by. I highly recommend it and look forward to going back again! Also, if attending a ball game at the impressive Camden Yards, this is the place to be. The beautiful stadium is mere steps away. Amazing! We LOVED everything about Rachel's Dowry!

The breakfasts were amazing. They started with yogurt parfait, home made scones and a vast selection of teas then main courses like eggs Florentine, carrot nut pancakes with maple cream or frittatas. Linda is a fabulous storyteller who has some wonderful stories to tell. She truly cares about her guests and is willing to supply ideas for Baltimore activities and directions on the best ways to get to them.

Linda was the most amazing owner, operator and hostess!! The entire visit was outstanding! Food was home cooked, rooms very clean, the entire house was so comfortable you felt like you were home. All the other were wonderful as well! This is a 10 out of 10!! We will stay again!

Historic home with a great Innkeeper that is knowledgeable and attentive. Parking and breakfast is included. Comfy bed and large bathroom. Plenty of sitting areas and a beautiful courtyard.

I loved all the decor. Breakfasts were delicious. I loved having a tea station and small treats available at all times. The brandy in the library was a nice touch as well.

Our host/cook, Linda, was awesome. We had an opportunity to chat in the morning at breakfast time, and she gave us a great history lesson about the neighborhood and the estate. And the walkability to ravens game was incredible. Thanks, you will see us again.

This BnB is absolutely wonderful: an exquisite, historically authentic, cozy gem of a place. The innkeeper was on hand to attend to our every need: she welcomed us personally, provided excellent recommendations for local sights & cuisine, and prepared heavenly breakfasts. What a beautiful house! Comfortable accommodations all around! Linda was an amazing host, providing all of the creature comforts one could ask for! We particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the surrounding Baltimore area! The food was amazing! The snickerdoodle cookies were the best!! We will definitely be returning!

This is such a wonderful property in a perfect location among an enclave of historic structures & streets. The level of comfort during our stay far surpassed my broadest expectations. Exquisite luxury bedding on the most comfortable mattress I ever experienced provided such a cozy nights sleep I dont know will ever be matched. The breakfast was fantastic from the first cup of coffee & scone to the eggs Benedict. The accommodations at every turn are outstanding.

What didnt I like! My wife and I loved this place! House was beautiful! Linda was hands down great and very welcoming! She showed us the house and gave us a background of the house! I wouldn't change a thing about this place! The beds! I melted right into them! Breakfast amazing great! Linda's cookies and muffins she makes oh I wish I took some home for the kids! Location is perfect for the football and baseball stadium even a parking lot for guests. All and all this place was amazing and my wife and I had zero complaints! See you next april!

Beautiful house, excellent breakfasts, great location close to everything but on a quiet street, knowledgeable and friendly staff. All around great b&b. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee, tea, and juice, fresh fruit, and hot entrees. Very accommodating host allowed us to check in early and store our bags after check out. Easy walking distance to both stadiums, Babe Ruth museum, and Lexington Market. Received recommendations for dinner and everything was on point. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.
